Manila, Philippines [ 24 July 2020 ]—Since its inception, Kids' Kollege, Inc. has aimed to provide exciting new ways for young children to learn new things and expand their horizons. And even amid the COVID19 pandemic, it continues to find ways to continue its mission to enrich and broaden children’s lives.

Since 1989, Kids' Kollege, Inc. has been partnering with PLDT Enterprise for its telecom and connectivity needs. The partnership has grown stronger over the years and has enabled more innovative ways to disseminate holistic educational resources to curious young minds—providing a positive impact on children in their formative years, shaping them into better individuals and citizens.

To mitigate the impact of this pandemic to education, Kids' Kollege, Inc. seeks to provide various means for students and teachers to continue their journey to better themselves. With the help of PLDT Enterprise and its various services, Kids' Kollege, Inc. is gearing up to be one of the premiere e-learning facilities in our country.

According to Dr. Betty Salvador, CEO of Kids' Kollege, Inc., "Many changes are underway. We understand that parents want to keep their children safe but also that they want their kids to continue studying. We’ve informed them about the upcoming changes and let them know that their kids' learning will be supported throughout this pandemic."

PLDT Enterprise is helping Kids' Kollege, Inc. beef up their e-learning capabilities through various services. The school has so far availed licenses for Microsoft 365, which comes with a suite of programs and collaboration tools that ensure productivity and real-time cooperation; a FiberBiz upgrade from 50 Mbps to 500 Mbps, which guarantees speedy and seamless transfer of information; and KKI Parent Internet connectivity, which features a package consisting of Fiber, Smart Bro Biz LTE, Smart Giga Study plans, to help keep parents apprised of their children’s academic progress and performance.

Parents, students, and teachers will also have reliable access to sites and services like Google Docs, Google Hangouts, Wikipedia and Youtube, and other related collaborative and educational websites. Such access aims to encourage students to cultivate independent learning skills and also engage in teamwork even through remote means.

Jovy Hernandez, ePLDT President & CEO and SVP & Head for PLDT and Smart Enterprise Business Groups, adds, “The suite of academe-centric prepaid packs we have on offer also includes various learning management systems, which will provide students with access to e-learning materials and video classes—ensuring that no child will be left behind.”

Kids' Kollege, Inc. is the first and only elementary school in Ilocos Norte to have offered Robotics Education since 2017 in partnership with PLDT. In the advent of online education, PLDT Enterprise aims to redefine the future of learning for Filipino students so they never stop dreaming through its continuous engagements with universities, colleges, schools and learning institutions across the country.
