PLDT Enterprise, the B2B arm of the country’s largest fully integrated telecommunications provider PLDT, has bagged two Silver Stevie awards at the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards 2022.

The group has received the Silver Stevie for Innovation in Public Relations Videos for its initiative MVP Bossing 2020: Rediscovery and Reinvention and Silver Stevie for Innovation in Business-to-Business Events for its Philippine Digital Convention (PH Digicon) 2021, titled Revolution.

Jojo Gendrano, FVP & Head of PLDT and Smart Enterprise, expressed his gratitude for the awards, highlighting the group’s dedication to empowering businesses and their stakeholders through customer-focused initiatives.

MVP Bossing 2020: Rediscovery and Reinvention is a campaign that celebrates local entrepreneurs and businesses to convey a message of hope amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2020 MVP Bossing campaign took on a digital format, showcasing the stories of resilience of the previous MVP Bossing awardees and new aspiring MVP Bossings. The campaign endeavors to inspire businesses of all sizes to rise above the challenges, rediscover new opportunities, and reinvent their business models.

Through this initiative, the group also celebrates the hard work of some accomplished entrepreneurs. The MVP Bossing Awards, a semi-annual event, highlights their beginnings, inspiring stories, and successes in navigating the constantly changing economic landscape.

Meanwhile, the PH Digicon is a digital convention that gathers global industry mavens, thought leaders, and tech pioneers, among others, to help drive technological enablement among enterprises.

Titled Revolution, the three-day convention discussed novel ways of doing business, adopting relevant solutions to unlock greater possibilities, and how to successfully pivot amid the current economic and industry conditions.

In 2021, PLDT Enterprise also won a Bronze Stevie for Innovation in Events for the sixth iteration of PH Digicon, titled IMPACT which featured innovative technological solutions to address the challenges enterprises face today in the New Future of Work.

The Stevie Awards is an international business award competition and one of the world’s premier programs that honor the positive contributions of organizations and professionals across 29 nations of the Asia-Pacific region, recognizing innovation in all forms.

Winners of the event will be awarded in a virtual ceremony on June 29.
